WORLD PROPHECIES:

These attempts at predicting the outcome of events are meant to be instructive and informative. They're not indicative of my personal values or beliefs. Nor is there any malice intended towards those individuals mentioned. I've tried to be as specific as possible about the details I sense. Once the results have occurred, I'll post these and see how I've done.

CAPTAIN TREVOR GREENE
Captain Trevor Greene, the Canadian soldier whose attack by an axe-wielding teenager in Afghanistan on March 3 has caught world attention, will survive his ordeal. He will not only survive, but he will have a “miraculous” recovery. This will be evident as early as May, 2006, at which time he will likely return home from hospital. (He is scheduled to fly back to Canada this month.) His personality should remain the much same, but his locomotion skills will suffer. This latter, however, may be where the “miraculous” occurs, and he can recover up to 85% and possibly more

Greene is in a medically-induced coma at present. The miracle I mention will be partially the result of prayer, and at least two people will be seen to have held a ‘prayer vigil’ for him. The power of true, sincere prayer, underestimated in our time, is an effort whose effects are multiplied exponentially whenever “two or more are gathered” in His name. With the right application, they can work “miracles.” Stronger yet would be to invite a combined effort by two or three religious heads of differing faiths. These individuals need not be together in flesh, only united in their belief and effort. Move the universe and it will move you back.

Greene may make medical history because of his ordeal.

CUBA
Fidel Castro (age 78) will not live beyond his 80th year. While it does seem likely that US forces will make plans to invade Cuba within two years, that may not happen for other very significant reasons.

NATURAL DISASTERS
Earthquake-making forces are building up "in the west." As I live in Toronto, that could include a lot of places, but I suspect it means North America, particularly the west coast of the US. While I was off in my prediction for devastating flooding to come to Atlanta (it seems now that it was New Orleans, though it may still happen in Atlanta), I feel that what is building up now is going to rock the western world to its foundations, literally and metaphorically. The nearest likely time for this activity to begin is this month, November 2005. The following two years promise to be very active in terms of worldwide natural disasters. The greater part of Edgar Cayce's predicted earth changes will be seen to have been delayed, not wrong.

ATLANTA FLOODING
Atlanta Flooding. I dreamed that devastating flooding will occur throughout Georgia and across the top of Florida. No time was given in the dream. Other psychics have predicted that Florida will eventually become an island before 2020 AD.

I still remember the devastating dream I had on this, and how, even though I felt it was not quite right, I was urged to post the prediction regardless. We now know it was New Orleans that was devastated, and not Atlanta, in August of 2005. Florida certainly had a record year for hurricanes in general and major hurricanes making landfall in particular. Still, one wonders what the use of such information is if it comes in such a haphazard fashion.

MORE MICHAEL
The Michael Jackson trial is currently in swing. Probably the only event in his lifetime more ridiculous than this clown show will be Jackson’s funeral, which is not far off as years go. His death will probably involve car travel.

OSAMA BIN LADEN
An e-mail message emanating from Pakistan, intercepted in April, will lead US forces to close in on what seems to be an Osama Bin Laden hot spot later this year. While they may discover one of his hiding places, it will likely prove to be a decoy. In any case, Bin Laden will yet again elude his pursuers, having a ‘second sight’ of his own. He will not be taken alive, probably ending his own life within the next 7 years, though he will have given the order for his followers to kill him rather than let him be captured. The recent Fatwah against him will actually help him by making his followers more determined to follow his aims. He will not fall victim to it, and in the years following his death will be seen as something of a rebel Muslim saint. He will likely mastermind one more act of great destruction, this time concentrating on England, most probably in London or Manchester.

Somewhere in the piles of paper I have lying about my office is a newspaper article describing pretty much what I’ve said above: on the last day of April 2005, an e-mail message from Pakistan was intercepted by US forces. Its contents led them to a hideaway where on May 4th a man named al-Libbi, said to be a key al Qaeda operative, was captured. The hideaway seems to have been either a secondary al-Qaeda getaway or a decoy destination. The confusion arises because there are still questions as to whether the man captured was really al-Libbi. Other sources claim al-Libbi was captured a few weeks earlier and this news was kept from the public while other members were tracked down.

Sadly, my final statement, that al-Qaeda would be targeting London or Manchester, came true with the London underground attacks on July 7^th and 21^st2005, not four months after this posting. If there were some way of notifying authorities of such things before they happened, my efforts in these areas would seem more worthwhile. I only hope my further comment that this would be one of their last true major attacks will also prove to be true.

CANADIAN ELECTIONS
Though it may seem a little late to be writing this, I've always felt that Stephen Harper, leader of the new Conservative party, will never be elected Prime Minister of Canada. Nor will Paul Martin, leader of the Liberal party, have an easy ride over the next four years. In the coming 12 months he will go public about an illness that affects his ability to lead and govern. He may no longer be at the helm of the party by the next election, in 2008, somewhat less than four years from now.

I’ve often been urged by my channeling sources not to engage in electoral speculation, asking answers to things that are none of my business, but I must have needed a good come-uppance to take the idea seriously. (There’s a huge difference between being given information and asking for answers. It’s not unlike the difference between receiving an inheritance and asking for a loan.)

When requesting information on the 2004 elections, I was sure Stephen Harper would not be elected Prime Minister. This in fact happened as predicted. I was relieved for many reasons when Paul Martin’s Liberal Party won the election the day after I posted my prediction. However, I took a ‘no’ for Harper’s winning then as a ‘not ever’, largely because I didn’t want to believe Harper would ever govern this great country.

Two days after Harper’s defeat in 2004, I dreamed that he had won the election. I knew then that he would eventually win, as he did in the recent January 2006 election. The assumption that ‘no’ meant ‘never’ was a result of my arrogance. I regret being wrong, of course, but I regret more that the country is in Harper’s hands. I don’t believe he will be good for it, appealing as he does more to greed and narrow-mindedness than to any collective goodwill. Ironically, I take solace in knowing Edgar Cayce once predicted that Hitler would not be so bad.

As for Paul Martin, it seems unlikely he will be at the helm of the party in 2008, but whether or not he has an illness hasn’t been disclosed. It may be that the ‘illness’ I foresaw was the minority government that saw him elected for a relatively short time. In metaphoric terms (and psychism operates very much within the realms of metaphor), a minority government is the political equivalent of a debilitating illness that affects a leader’s ability to govern.

US ELECTIONS
Though there will be a significant number of surprises in the race between now and the November presidential elections, George W Bush will not sit as US President for two consecutive terms.

Some would say yes, others would say no. Two weeks before the US elections I realized what I was looking at was not a trick question, but a trick answer. While I couldn’t get a positive ‘yes’ on whether John Kerry would win the presidency, neither could I get a ‘no’ on Bush. On reflecting, I realized that Bush is believed not to have won the popular vote against Al Gore in his first election in 2000, and therefore couldn’t win the second. And some would have us believe he didn’t win that, either. My sincere apologies to anyone I led to believe they would not have to endure four more years of Bush as president. One more reason for me not to predict political outcomes. We’ll see if I can resist!

(This isn’t the first time a candidate for the US presidency was declared a winner without having won a majority of the popular vote. In 1877, Republican Rutherford B Hayes was declared winner over Democrat Samuel J Tilden, once again because of contested votes in Florida, as well as Louisiana and South Carolina. Talk about history repeating itself!)

WORLD PEACE?

Think again. My channeling guides say it's not likely for another 230 years! Why is that? It's easier to understand this question when we understand the role each of us plays in contributing to the Collective Will. Edgar Cayce always insisted that "Thoughts are deeds." A thought is a form of energy. So are actions and spoken words. When you think, speak or do anything, you are using energy with an intention. Individual intentions find their way into a global intention, or Collective Will, sometimes called the "Universal Mind." What is the intention of each of our words, thoughts and deeds? Anger, hatred, and judgment or acceptance, love and goodwill? If you think of negative thoughts, words and deeds as a form of energetic pollution, then you will understand how the oceans of the universe get so dirty. This is why it's always important to do, think and say the right thing, at all times. A hard task? Yes, perfection is hard. In fact, it may take us another 230 years to attain something even remotely like it.

Can we change this?

Yes, it's possible. Edgar Cayce was not a pessimist, and always insisted that the course of the future could be influenced positively in the here-and-now. What he meant was, each of must do our part to change things, individually, rather than throwing our hands up in despair and waiting for our leaders to intervene. As we know, leaders don't always do the right thing. Joseph McMoneagle, one the chief Remote Viewers trained by the CIA, writes in his book of future predictions, The Ultimate Time Machine, that there will be no global peace until "well into the twenty-third century." This concurs with my beliefs. The question is not Can we, but will we change it?

MICHAEL JACKSON
Michael Jackson will not go to jail for child molestation, but will be found guilty of a lesser charge (such as, providing alcohol to a minor). He’s likely attempting to delay the trial while the strong effects of Pisces (his Sun sign’s opposite) are being felt, until Mars goes into Taurus, a fellow earth sign for Virgoan Jackson, when the energy will be better suited to him. No doubt the recent conviction of Martha Stewart will cause him to reflect deeply on his own circumstances. His conflicted star will continue to shine, but less so in the public eye. Music will become more of a background consideration for Jackson as charity work comes to the forefront over the next 15 years.

On June 14, 2005, Michael Jackson was exonerated on charges both of child molestation and providing an intoxicating agent to a minor. He will not spend any time in jail, as I’d correctly predicted, though if I’d paid more attention to the charges at the time I would have realized that a ‘guilty’ verdict on even the secondary charge would have resulted in a jail sentence for him.

Jackson has indeed been less seen in public, and is believed to have been living on the island kingdom of Bahrain since his acquittal. More recent news has him facing financial problems in the US, but these will be quickly dealt with. While he may eventually give up Neverland, he won’t simply lose it.

MARTHA STEWART
Martha Stewart will be found guilty of “tampering” (I’m not sure what the actual legal term is) and will spend time in jail, but an insignificant amount (less than two years), all things considered. Her popularity will crest, but she will soon thereafter withdraw from public life till she feels safer and in a more controlled environment (unless I’m reading “jail” here), giving up her show to concentrate on book writing. Her friend Barbra Streisand may speak loudly in her favour behind the scenes, but will be more cautious in public, fearing a backlash for her opinion.

The events of March 5th 2004 have proved part of this prediction (posted here the previous month.) The rest remains to be seen, especially with regard to the length of sentence Stewart will ultimately serve.

Martha Stewart served a jail sentence of five months, and a house arrest sentence of five months and three weeks after being convicted of ‘lying to investigators’. And would that be another way of saying ‘tampering’? In October 2004, New York Magazine reported that she was writing a prison memoir or even a book on prison in general. As of March 2006, it has yet to appear in print. Her recent TV venture, The Apprentice: Martha Stewart, was met with less than great acclaim, but it seems her design empire is again in full swing. Welcome back, Martha!
