THE DREAM CHANNELER DREAMS:

I often encourage people to ask a question right before they go to sleep, to see if they can grasp an answer from their subconscious. Sometimes I even take my own advice, especially when I want to know about things beyond my reach. After a period of training, the answers just come on request. Here are some of the questions and intriguing answers I've been given to ponder. See if they help you.

On Will - Divine, Collective and Individual
Due to a great deal of stress in my personal and professional life recently, I was experiencing the usual doubts and loss of faith we all have over the effectiveness of our actions and their probable outcomes. Before going to sleep one night, I asked for guidance on the following question: Is my life or is my life not unfolding as it should?

The answer: My mother came to me and said I had to sign my death certificate, which was my will, as I was about to be put to death by arrangement at 6 o'clock the following evening. At the top of the page, I read, "Short Notice Form." I answered the standard questions on the form -- name, rank and serial number etc. -- without feeling much of anything other than, 'This will be over soon.' On the final portion, however, I balked. I had to detail my assets and name their beneficiaries. The first thing that came to mind was my piano, followed by my collection of original artwork. My mind became overwhelmed by particulars and I thought, "There are too many of them. I don't have time to get them all down." I began to be flooded with sorrow and wondered if my death could not be put off to another day, but it seemed too much effort to bother to ask for a delay.

This answer is fairly clear, and deals with the question of "will." First, there is Divine Will, which answers to no one, and may come up on "Short Notice." Our Collective Will as a race is next, and it determines the state of the planet, among other things. (Apparently we're very angry these days.) Individual will, which this dream also speaks about, is what we all exercise in every thought we make, word we speak, and deed we perform. It's all about energy and intent, and it comes from us and goes outward to join the Collective Will. This is why it's always important to do, think and say the right thing, at all times. A hard task? Yes, perfection is hard, but if you think of negative thoughts, words and deeds as energetic pollution, then you will understand how the oceans of our universe get so dirty.

In this case, my will had become apathetic to the many gifts surrounding me. I was also in danger of being overwhelmed by the particulars of dealing with so much on a daily basis. Interestingly, the number "6" represents "choice" in Qabalistic Tarot, so my hour of choice was at hand. My "will" had "arranged" for me to come to this juncture in life. A "life or death" crisis arose, and I had to get my will in gear to deal with it. The sorrow came when I realized how I would feel if I had to give up what I had, even though I had failed to fully appreciate it at the time.

On Karma:
Two years before deciding to create this website on dream interpretation, I was grappling with the concept of Karma and how it manifested. Karma is more than the simple concept of past lives and being responsible for our actions. In the larger sense, Karma is "the meeting of self". It's about attracting the experiences we need to grow and succeed in this lifetime. And while some experiences are more difficult than others, Karma isn't punishment, though often viewed this way.

One night I asked to dream about how Karma manifested and whether it was possible to change it. That night I dreamed I was being shown the exterior, or shell, of a man. It resembled the finely crenulated shell of a walnut (i.e. looking into it once it had been cracked open and emptied of the meat.) This, I understood, represented the physical Karmic patterning of a human being.

Then I was shown the second half of the shell, somewhat less substantial in appearance, suspended above and mirroring the first half. The two halves "matched", though the first was physical and the second spiritual in nature. Then they were joined together and the Karmic patterning was activated. 

In this particular case the Karma related to contracting AIDS. The understanding given to me during this dream was that in terms of negative patterns or "fate", we're given the choice of changing our behaviour on the physical plane, thus preventing the two halves from being brought together. In this way we can transcend negative karmic destiny, but only through diligence and hard work. In other words, we can choose to learn the lesson without undergoing the harsh experience.

While still dreaming, I was strictly ordered to write this dream down in its entirety, as it could aid others in the days to come.

On The Limits Of Remote Viewing:  
In teaching classes on Remote Viewing (Beyond Remote Viewing), I often encounter the questions: "How far can I go?" and "Is there a limit to what I can view remotely, either in time or space?" 

As far as I can tell, there's no limit under the proper circumstances. There is, however, information that it isn't always appropriate to provide. For example, it's frowned upon Karmically to ask for certain information that isn't our private concern. Edgar Cayce once rebuked a woman for asking the sex of a neighbour's unborn baby. "Not for you to know," he snapped while in trance, "unless you're one of the parents!" Enough said.

Idle curiosity isn't a virtue in the psychic realm. The same holds true for information that may subvert Karma. In attempting to channel information about upcoming disasters, such as the events that occurred in the United States in 2001 and in Spain in 2004, I sometimes encounter the psychic equivalent of a smoke screen. I grow agitated in the days just prior to a tragedy that will affect many people. I'm tempted to look into possible upcoming events, however, I can only discern small but highly accurate details that wouldn't allow me to alert anyone. In the weeks before the death of Princess Diana, for example, I warned every young blonde woman I knew to avoid driving. Unfortunately, I didn't know Diana. Certain events are destined to happen whether we understand their reason or not, and that was one of them.

Recently I asked my dreams why such things are difficult to penetrate. The answer surprised even me, for I hadn't considered the idea of personal consequence. In the dream I saw myself as young and optimistic, curious about many things whose power I hadn't fully understood. As I "pried into" the earth with my fingers attempting to "uncover" something, my hands got dirty. They were stained with blood and excrement. I looked into a mirror and saw that I'd aged and that my youthful optimism had vanished. The "stain" or strain of knowledge had brought terrible consequences. I stopped my over-zealous explorations of things I wasn't welcome to pry into.
