SYMBOLS: Dare to interpret your dreams
The great psychic and channeler Edgar Cayce advised us to “interpret the dreamer, not the dream.” What did he mean by that? Simply, that it’s not possible to apply a one-size-fits-all definition to dream symbols. It’s context that counts, and in this case the dreamer is the context. What’s most important is how you feel about the dream and its symbols.
For instance, you may have dreamed about your house being on fire, yet woke feeling elated. How could that be? Common dream interpretations would say your soul or self

That’s not to say there are no symbols that approach a universal meaning, yet context tells us how to interpret them. If you feel good about negative symbols or bad about positive symbols, that’s a clue as to what they mean to you. Still, I would no more interpret my dreams with a standard dictionary of dream symbolism than follow a daily astrology column in a newspaper. They’re too vague and, ultimately, meaningless.
The following brief listing of symbols will give you a basic guide to interpreting your dreams. Always keep in mind how you felt. Clicking on a highlighted word will take you to accounts of specific dreams containing these symbols to give you an idea how they might relate to your dream.

blackboard having to do with public expression and notices of a semi-formalized nature
blood the life force or vitalizing fluid
blue joyous, lighthearted energy; spiritual balance
border a crossing or boundary between states, phases, things
breath vitality; spirit; extremely important life force; creative energy or inspiration
bright increased or strengthened state of something, particularly as regards 'colour'
C (Back to Top) camera recording device; being observed
Cell Phone communication, potentially of a spiritual nature due to its "wireless" or non-physical capacity
class group of people in a similar learning stage, not necessarily in a formal school setting; status
Clean often refers to a good state of health when anything, especially a home, is represented as being clean
clown clownish behaviour or person
Coast Guard identification with a higher power or authority
colour often indicative of energy or emotion (see individual colours, also pale and bright )
control order; preoccupation with organizing; power and authority; desiring the use of force or will over something
Crocodile Dundee animal magnetism (when individuals seem to embody a quality, often they come to represent those things symbolically)
crowd a common symbol with many possible meanings, it could relate to actual people, principles or even ideas; if the crowd is attacking, it may relate to health, as in the case of invading germs, especiall
